I got this for my husband who usually takes work notes on any surface or scrap paper he can find and then immediately loses it. He loves his XNote system and has been showing everyone, he works with how easy it is to use. My husband's handwriting is horrible, and it still picks it up and imports it perfectly. We have a family member who is a doctor, and they were impressed with its ability to 'transcribe' (though I do not believe this product is HIPPA compliant). The pen writes very smoothly and seems to be a medium point. My husband has charged it once since Christmas (he did not start using it immediately) and the battery was still at 73% so the battery life seems to be really amazing.

This was something that I decided to try out of curiosity. My job, I take alot of notes and it would be so nice to not have to retype my notes once I'm home or back at my desk. This has helped wit that. I wouldn't recommend this if you arent a heavy note taker or an artist. It comes with a 3rd part app that you do have to download. Its extremely easy to download. It takes seconds and I haven't had any issues with the pen itself losing connection. It also comes with this notebook that is extremely well made and high quality. The notebook isn't important. If you happen to run out of pages, you can just use any paper. The most important part is the pen itself. The pen itself feel extremely comfortable. I'm right handed and I had no issues with holding it for long periods of time, I even have fake nails on and it still was comfortable. The tip doesn't need to be changed out as often like a stylus or epen that comes with tablets. But it does need to be chnaged out and it comes with refillable tips. It functions so smoothly! It feels like you are writing with a luxury pen. The pen just glides across the paper like its skating. I did have a couple of times when I was writing extremely sloppy and it confused the pen but that was my mistake. I even had a hard time understanding what I wrote. I couldn't imagine how the pen would have interpreted what I wrote. But when I rewrote it in a more legible way. I was able to get about 4 days of heavy note taking before I had to put it back on a charger. When I say heavy note taking, I'm talking about taking notes for about 6 hours stright aday! The battery would last longer if you arent taking notes to that extent. I do have an issue with the fact that you need to have the app open in order for it to transcribe which can be annoying for some people but for me, it was only slightly annoying. I highly recommend reading the instructions completely before you use the pen so that using it can be a smooth process. I can see how some people can not think this is a value but for me it is. I think its worth the money sole so that I dont have to retype up my notes at the end of the day. My only complaint like I stated above is the fact that the app is required to be open in order for it to be put in mobile form. Its the only reason why I'm removing ONE star. If it wasnt for that. It would be perfect.
